QUEZON CITY — The 5th Quezon City International Business Conference will be held on Friday day (Feb. 28) with the theme: “Building Tomorrow Together: Future Proofing Business, Driving Sustainable and Fostering Equitable Economy” at the M.I.C.E in Quezon City Hall Complex.
In a press conference, Dr. Carl Balita, Chairman Emeritus of the PCCIQC (Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry-Quezon City), said that they are proud in staging the first International Business Conference in Quezon City.
The PCCIQC has been adjudged for being the Most Outstanding PCCI Chapter in the Philippines for two years in a row — 2023 and 2024.
Dr. Balita boasted that Mayor Joy Belmonte was very very happy to have the International Business Conference in Quezon City.
The press is also part of the International Business Conference.
It was transferred from New Delhi, India to Quezon City because Mayor Joy Belmonte is purpose driven.
The conference will gather together prime movers of business such as three DTI, DOST, and DICT, ambassadors of the embassies.
We are bringing business to Quezon City. We are bringing business to the world.
We are setting up an ideal ecosystem. We were present during the SOCA of Mayor Belmonte.
We want to resonate that here in QC there is an ecosystem.
The PCCIQC had been there during the Covid-19 pandemic (March 15, 2020-December 2022).
Mayor Belmonte would like to promote equitability.
We are the start up hub capital of the Philippines.
A panel discussion will also be conducted with future Proofing such as the Uratex.
Sarah Deloraya, President Emeritus of the PCCIQC, said that Singapore, Russia, Australia Spain to discuss future sustainable economy as well as digitalization.
He noted that 99 percent of the businesses in QC are MSMEs.
The giveaways to foreign delegates are products created by MSMEs in Quezon City.
Elias Diaz was also invited to the Conference on Feb. 28, 2025.
Amor Maclang of the Digital Pilipinas is also invited to come.
Other LGUs are just benchmarking from Quezon City when it comes to digitalization with the vision of Mayor Joy Belmonte.

Santos expressed the hope that the PCCIQC will be able to merit the third award as the Most Business Friendly.

Public Employment Office is the dedicated office of the QC LGU to bridge the link between the employees and the employers in Quezon City.
