SAN JUAN CITY — The 8th Ortigas Art Festival 2025 kicked off on Thursday (July 10) here at the GH Mall coinciding with the 94th Anniversary of Ortigas Land here in Gteenhills.
With the thene: “Art for All. A celebration of borderless artistic expression”, the 8th Ortigas Art Festival runs from July 10-24, 2025 at the East Wing, South Wing,
and Atrium of the GH Mall, and at the cinemas at the 4th floor.
In his message, Mayor Francis Zamora said that the 8th Ortigas Art Festival coincides with the 94th Anniversary of Ayala Land.
Ayala Land straddles from Pasig River to Aurora Boulevard and all the way to Shaw Boulevard.
Zamora added that the festival is participated in by galleries and artists.
He acknowledged Pasig City Councilor Angelu De Leon-Rivera, Angono, Rizal Councilor Jo Anne Saguinsin, the Ortigas family and the officials of Ortigas Malls.
He reminisced that he grew and spent his younger days in the Greenhills area.
He welcomed everyone in the 8th Ortigas Art Festival in celebration of the 94th Anniversary of Ortigas Land.
He noted that the festival originated from Estancia Capitol Commons in Pasig City to Greenhills in San Juan City.
“San Juan has the lowest crime rate in Metro Manila. San Juan is the first drug-cleared LGU (local government unit) in Metro Manila,” Zamora boasted.

Bacani acknowledged Zamora, De Leon-Rivera, Saguinsin, amon others.
Also present were Tirso Cruz III, Consultants of Art Festival Bacani and Helen Mirasol.
She cited the 94th Anniversary of Ortigas Land which transcends innovation, excellence and community.
“The festival blossomed into award-winning recognition,” Bacani said.
“The festival marked a new milestone to celebrate the 94th Anniversary of Ortigas Land,” she added.
The ribbon-cutting ceremony signaling the opening of the festival was led by Zamora, De Leon-Rivera, Saguinsin, Marites Ortigas, Habulan, and Mirasol, among others.
De Leon said that she has been supportive of the festival since the time it started In Estancia, Pasig City until it is now held in Greenhills, San Juan City.
Saguinsin said that Angono is a small town, which is the Art Capital of the Philippines and rich in culture, tradition and music.
Habulan cited the struggles and challenges encountered by the Art Festival, especially during the Covid-19 lockdown from March 15, 2020 until December 2022.
The festival is participated in by the Angono Artists Collective, Ortigas
Foundation, Pasig Art Club, Shine Vitto, to name a few.
Also participating global fashion designer Mayen Mawawal and the grandson of National Artist Botong Francisco, and Raul “Ponj” Roco, Jr., among others. ###
