QUEZON CITY — The MOU signing for the conduct of the Triathlon Philippines was held on Monday (Aug. 11) at the Session Hall of the City Council at the Third Floor of the Legislative Building.
Vice Mayor Gian Carlo Sotto and City Council Presiding Officer said that they set the MOU signing to be held at the City Council in order to give the Councilors the opportunity to participate in the Triathlon Philippines on September 28 this year.
Triathlon Philippines Senior Vice President Tom T. Carrasco, Jr., together with the City Councilors and the City Sports Department officials were present in the MOU signing.
Carrasco said that this will be the first time that they will conduct the Triathlon Philippines in Quezon City.
He added that they are expecting 450 participants in the Triathlon Philippines at the Amoranto Swimming Pool in Quezon City on Sept. 28, 2025.
Carrasco said that this is the first time in history that the Triathlon Philippines will be held in Quezon City, the city that is known for “Many First”. ###
