QUEZON CITY — Journalist Ben “Bitag” Tulfo with 54.63%, Sen. Christopher Lawrence “Bong” Go with 54%, and ACT-CIS Partylist Rep. Erwin Tulfo with 53.5%, topped the latest survey of the Tangere.
In a press conference, Tangere Acquisition Apps, Inc. (Tangere) President and CEO Martin Xavier Penaflor said that today is the seventh senatorial survey press conference.
Tangere is a mobile application available in the App Store.
Comelec Resolution 11117 allows Tangere, and one of the three survey firms to conduct surveys prior to the May 12, 2025 national elections.

The survey was conducted last week at the height of the arrest of former President Rodrigo Roa Duterte (FPRRD).
They have more than 100 clients nationwide and worldwide.
It is now their their third election where they conducted survey with raw data which do not pass through the people.

Among others, their reference clients are McDonald’s, Gerry’s Grill and Uratex.
March 11-14, 2025 was when the pre-senatorial survey was conducted.
Tokens and GCash were given during the non-commissioned survey.
Stratefied random survey or quota survey of 2,400 respondents with 1.96% error of margin.
NCR with 20%, NCL with 23%, SL with 22%, Visayas with 20%, and Mindanao with 23%.
The voters included 18-25 years old with 19%,
The margin between Las Pinas City Rep. Camille Villar and Sen. Imee Marcos was 1.96 %.
Ben Tulfo, Bong Go and Erwin Tulfo topped the survey where Go had 51.25% from 54%.
From other provinces in Northern Luzon, Bong Go is No. 1. because of his full support to FPRRD.
Sen. Tito Sotto is no. 4 with 47.67%.
The Tulfo brothers were no. 1-2 last month, but Go made it to no. 2 in the last survey.
But with the same age and social class group even with the issue in the ICC.
Tied in 7 to 12, Abalos was low in no. 7, less Ping Lacson, Abalos will still be in the no. 12.
Sen. Bato increased in Metro Manila but not in the Visayas and Mindanao.
Abalos, Lapid, Lacson had no notable increase but Lacson with notable increase driven by Central Luzon and Northern Luzon.
Abalos is gold standard in face to face and online.
Bam Aquino is 7-13, with 32.75% from 36.38%.
Successful messaging such as the top of the mind was education for Bam Aquino.
No. 13-16 was Makati City Mayor Abby Binay driven by Central Luzon and Northern Luzon.
The ICC issue had no effect on the 12 senatorial candidates of the Marcos administration.
No. 17-18 was Sen. Francis “Tol” Tolentino. Almost one percent was for Philip Salvador because he cried over FPRRD as well as Honasan who issued a statement.
The ICC had no effect on Rep. Camille Villar. Sagip Partylist Rep. Rodante Marcoleta and Atty. Jimmy Bondoc had notable increase.
18% also preferred Dr. Willy Ong and 12% for former Ilocos Sur Gov. Luis “Chavit” Crisologo Singson.
Manoy Wilbert Lee had strong awareness.
Sec. Vic Rodriguez had 10.42% from 6%.

Almost 4 out of 10 Filipinos do not agree with the arrest of FPRRD.
They do not agree with the cooperation with the ICC.

10 out of 12 administration candidates had no effect with the ICC issue because they were used to be allied with the former president.
Villar, Lapid and Lacson even increased their voter preference.
85% changed their voter preferences because they became more active.
Abalos, Se. Bong Revilla, Jr. and Bam Aquino were benefitting from randomization.

Education, labor and employment, and food security were the top concerns to be addressed.
May takot sa Diyos at hindi corrupt were the traits for candidates to be preferred.
46% or the Top 2 are likely to vote for candidates who support the impeachment case against Vice President Sara Duterte consistent with the results last month (Feb. 10-13).
Octa Research and Tangere complied with the submission of the SEC Registration and other requirements.
Penaflor suggested a grading system, which will be okay with Tangere, with minimum years off experience.
The researchers of Tangere have PhD or doctorate degree.
The other survey firms also don’t have a show card in there face to face.
Tangere spends P200,000, including press conferences, with more than 100 clients, funded company on non-commissioned surveys.
One to two weeks before the elections, surveys are not alowed and exit polls are prohibited while elections are being conducted.
There is a bias being in front while the Partylists are randomized, hence Tangere synchronized the ballots.
There is a 3% voter preference for A, B and C.

The source of information were Facebook with 79%, Television with 76%, and YouTube with 50%.

Penaflor said that the use of AI (Artificial Intelligence) is not organic as it uses “high falluting” words and personal touch is really different.
The ICC has effect positively in the PDP-Laban senatorial candidates and negatively on administration senatorial candidates.
There are now some concerns that the national issues were overshadowed by the ICC issue such as the Maharlika Investment Fund, AKAP (Ayuda para sa Kapos ang Kita Program), among others.
Only 14% of the Filipinos believe in the surveys, hence, there is no “bandwagon effect”.
Tangere is accepted by the Comelec.
67% of Filipinos do not agree with the arrest of FPRRD.
One-third of the people in the rural areas are still undecided with whom to vote in the May 12, 2025 elections and they are waiting for ayuda.
It’s the law of big numbers and not a niche of people when it comes to the conduct of surveys of stratefied randomized survey. ###
