QUEZON CITY — The simultaneous oathtaking ceremony of newly-promoted 135 junior commissioned officers (COs) and 2,200 non-commissioned officers (NCOs) of the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), an attached agency of the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG), was held on Wednesday (Oct. 1) here at its National Headquarters in Sen. Miriam Defensor-Santiago Avenue, Barangay Pag-asa.

administered the oath of office of the newly-promoted 135 junior COs and 2,200 NCOs.
It was the elevating ceremony of the newly-promoted BFP officers nationwide.
In his message, Fernandez expressed his gratitude to the Selection and Promotions Board (SPB) for their effort in the selection of the newly-promoted officers.
He also expressed his gratitude to the families of the promoted junior COs and NCOs in joining today’s ceremony.
Fernandez extended his warmest congratulations to the newly-promoted officers. .
“We expect you to grow professionally and personally with your promotion and new responsibility,” Fernandez said.
“You will be the next generation of new leaders. You do your duty and responsibility with utmost diligence and dedication,” “he added.
The BFP Chief said that they expect from the newly-promoted officers the highest standard of professionalism.
The BFP expects the newly-promoted officers to be good examples in the ranks.
“Let us continue to serve with honor and excellence bringing bright future to the community,” the BFP said.
The 135 junior commissioned officers and 2,200 non-commissioned officers
simultaneously took their oath before BFP Chief Director Jesus Vidad Fernandez.
BFP Director Fernandez and the Command Group led in the simultaneous donning of the ranks of the newly-promoted 135 junior COs and 2,200 NCOs.
According to Fernandez, the newly-promoted 135 junior COs and 2,200 NCOs will not anymore be transferred as they are already assigned nationwide.
