CAMP GENERAL ALEJO S. SANTOS, City of Malolos, Bulacan — The Bulacan Police Provincial Office, under the leadership of PCol. Angel L. Garcillano, Provincial Director, took part in the simultaneous inspection of disaster response equipment spearheaded by the Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) under the supervision of PBGen. Ponce Rogelio I. Penones, Jr., Regional Director, on Saturday, November 8.

In preparation for the possible impact of Typhoon “Uwan,” the Bulacan PPO inspected its Search and Rescue (SAR) assets, including life vests, chainsaws, ropes, generators, and other essential tools to ensure functionality and readiness for immediate deployment.

PCol. Garcillano underscored the significance of preparedness and coordination with the Provincial and Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Offices (PDRRMO/MDRRMOs) to ensure an efficient and united disaster response across the province.

This undertaking aligns with the PNP Focused Agenda on Managing Risk at All Levels under the Enhanced Managing Police Operations (EMPO), affirming PRO3’s commitment to protect lives, maintain peace and order, and uphold professionalism in the service of the people, reflecting PRO3’s core principle to “Protect the People, Pursue Peace and Order, and Promote Professionalism.” ###
