PASIG CITY — Department of Education National Employees Union (DepEd NEU) President Atty. Domingo B. Alidon has announced a groundbreaking achievement in their collective efforts to promote employee welfare.
“Under the leadership of DepEd Secretary Sonny Angara, we have secured a significant Collective Negotiation Agreement Incentive (CNAI) amounting to ₱10,000 for each DepEd NEU member, and ₱8,000 for non-members,” Atty. Alidon said.
Alidon noted that the remarkable breakthrough is a testament to the collaborative efforts of their union and the DepEd management.
The DepEdNEU is the largest union of education employees in the country.
“As DepEd NEU President, I am committed to upholding the rights and welfare of our members,” he said.
The grant of CNAI is in accordance with the guidelines set by the Department of Budget and Management (DBM), which aims to promote employee welfare and recognize their hard work and dedication.
“We are delighted that Sec. Angara has demonstrated a deep understanding of the plight of non-teaching personnel and rank-and-file employees of the Department. His commitment to employee welfare has paved the way for this historic CNAI,” Alidon said.
“We look forward to continued collaboration with the DepEd management to ensure the welfare and well-being of our members,” he added.
“We believe that this achievement is a significant step towards promoting quality public service and recognizing the hard work and dedication of our employees,” Alidon said.
“We would like to extend our sincerest gratitude to Sec. Sonny Angara for his unwavering support and commitment to the welfare of DepEd employees. His leadership and vision have been instrumental in making this historic CNAI a reality,” he added.
“We are truly grateful for his dedication to promoting the well-being of our members,” Alidon said.
