MANDALUYONG CITY — The Greenfield Development Corporation (GDC) on Friday night (Nov. 15) began spreading Christmas spirit with its annual traditional Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony at the Greenfield District Central Park.
This year’s festive tradition embraced an enchanting “Angel” theme, with the 60-foot Christmas tree adorned in glowing, winged ornaments and halos for a truly celestial experience.
The joyous occasion was an unforgettable memorable experience featuring a stunning fireworks display and classic Christmas caroling.
Santa Claus was also present and greeted guests and spread holiday magic, while an exclusive raffle offers exciting prizes for some lucky attendees.
A chair was provided to take photos with Santa Claus with the people around, especially the children. The stage with the giant lighted Christmas tree served as the platform for the Christmas carolers.
Festive English and Tagalog Christmas songs which spread Christmas spirit were rendered by the Angelic Choir from Caloocan City.
Food stalls and playground area for children were around for the people to enjoy eating and for the children to enjoy playing.
