MANILA — Mr. and Mrs. Shinha Moon opened the Exhibit of One Family Under God at the historic Manila Hotel on Saturday (July 20) culminating the second day of the First Asia-Pacific Family Peace Leadership Conference.
The exhibitors included the New Civilization Network (NCN), Korean Dream, Atchara and Kimchi Making, Family Peace Association (FPA) USA, FPA Korea, FPA Japan, FPA Philippines, FPA Nepal, FPA India, FPA Chinese Taipei, FPA Thailand, and FPA Mongolia.
Mrs. Shinha Moon is the International Vice President of FPA.
Present to show their respect and admiration to the Hon. Shinha Moon and her family were Dr. Samuel Salvador and Dr. Michael Zablan, Chair and Co-Chair of the First Asia-Pacific Family Peace Leadership Conference, respectively, Dr. Leonida Bayani Ortiz, Chairperson of the Golden Leaf Awards Committee, and Dr. Janet R. Valdez, President of the Bulacan Polytechnic College (BPC), among others.
The sound of drums made many delegates from the nine Asia-Pacific countries dance joyfully in their own respective cultural orientation to their hearts desire which made the atmosphere more spiritually enhancing and physically rejuvenating.
The nine participating countries with diverse culture, values, and tradition are Nepal, Thailand, India, Taiwan, Mongolia, South Korea, Philippines, India, and the United States of America.
Mr. & Mrs. Shinha Moon and their two children accompanied by the officials visited the exhibition booths of Mongolia, Taiwan, India, Philippines, United States of America, Japan, South Korea, Nepal, Thailand, New Civilization Network (NCN), and the Korean Dream, respectively.
They were greeted with cheers by the excited and joyous delegates.
Several photos were taken by the delegates themselves as well as the media.
The Moon couple led the ribbon-cutting ceremony with vibrant music and they were ushered into the Fiesta Pavilion of the historic Manila Hotel filled with dynamic dancing and music from diverse culture, values, and tradition.
The Moon family and the entire officials of the FPA also danced to their hearts desire with the non-stop musical festival welcoming the New Civilization of One Family Under God.
The energetic cultural performers shouted “Mabuhay! Salamat! Salamat! (Long Live! Thank you! Thank you!)”
“Happy Fiesta! ” the delegates shouted.
A petition is now underway to include the “New Civilization of One Family Under God” in the policy-making bodies in the world.
The Family Festival started from God-centered Filipino family tradition such as “Mano Po” as a show of respect to elders, having godparents in the christening of children, “Simbang Gabi”, which is a nine-day dawn masses before Christmas Day, fiestas and festivals are celebrated by Filipinos with profound cultural and religious tradition.
The Philippines’ values and tradition also include the Bayanihan Spirit which is a manifestation of a unified community action to help a person in need.
