LUNSOD NG MALOLOS, Bulacan — “Bulacan, the financial powerhouse and first-world province of the Philippines by 2040, with a vibrant economy, safe environment, inclusive infrastructure, excellent governance, and strong middle class as the core of the citizenry where people have equal access to opportunities and services and living models of its historical heritage and cultural significance.”
Ito ang bisyon ng Bulacan sa Provincial Development and Physical Framework Plan (PDPFP) para sa 2024 hanggang 2036 na inaprubahan ng Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development (DHSUD) sa ginanap na Ceremonial Signing ng CLUPs and PDPFPs sa Lunsod Quezon kamakailan.
Sinabi ni Gobernador Daniel R. Fernando na siniguro ng PDPFP ang balanse sa mga programang pang ekonomiya at panlipunan dahil gusto niyang ang mga Bulakenyo ang makinabang sa mga oportunidad na niyayakap nila.
“The Philippine Statistics Authority, in its latest release on economic performance of provinces, identified Bulacan as 4th province in the Philippines with highest contribution to national GDP. But we will continue to strive more to bring Bulacan to further greatness,” anang gobernador.
Samantala, binati at pinasalamatan ng Kalihim ng DHSUD na si Jose Rizalino Acuzar ang mga lokal na pamahalaan sa kanilang pagsunod sa mga polisiya.
“Ang tagumpay na ito ay hindi lamang pagsunod sa mga patakaran kundi inyong tunay na malasakit at responsibilidad sa inyong mga nasasakupan. Ngunit, hindi dito natatapos ang ating gawain. Ang tunay na hamon ay ang pagsasakatuparan ng mga planong ito,” anang kalihim. Ang PDPFP ay produkto ng pagtutulungan ng Pamahalaang Panlalawigan ng Bulacan sa pamamagitan ng Provincial Planning and Development Office, mga lokal na pamahalaan, mga stakeholder, at sa tulong at patnubay ng Palafox Associates.
