PILILLA, Rizal — The Pinoy Ako PartyList on Saturday (Jan. 25) visited and extended assistance in Barangay Quisao here.
Beneficiaries of the medical mission are the poor residents of Barangay Quisao numbering to around 1,000 infividuals, including women, men, children and the elderly.
The Pinoy Ako PartyList, dubbed as “Tunay na PartyList ng Katutubo at Obrero (True PartyList of Indigenous People and Workers)”, is also considered as “Pinoy para sa Adhikain ng Katutubo at Obrero (Pinoy for the Aspiration of the Indigenous People and Workers)” is at No. 99 in the official ballot of the Commission on Elections (Comelec) for the May 12, 2025 national and local elections (NLE).
Held at the Ynares Multi-Purpose Covered Court in Brgy. Quisao, Pililla, Rizal, the visit of the Pinoy Ako PartyList was well attended by around 1,000 beneficiaries across all walks of life.
Among others, the beneficiaries received 5 kilos of rice, T-shirt, free lunch, and sorbetes (dirty ice cream).
They were each given an ID to be laminated by them which will be used as a requirement for them to ask for assistance from the Pinoy Ako PartyList in the future endeavor.
Because of the jampacked venue and the hot weather, the beneficiaries were asked to go home already after receiving the food, rice and T-shirt for each one of them.
In an interview, Barangay Quisao Secretary Sidney Vidanes said that they are very thankful for the visit and the help and assistance extended to them by the Pinoy Ako PartyList in their Barangay, which is the first time for their Barangay to be visited by a PartyList this year.
Vidanes expressed his gratitude to the Pinoy Ako PartyList if ever they will conduct their second visit and medical mission to their Barangay.
He added that the beneficiaries are around 900 and was still increasing.
Barangay Quisao has a total population of 17,302. It has a voting population of 8,000 and because of the recent Comelec registration, it may reach to about 9,000 in time for the May 12, 2025 NLE.
The beneficiaries themselves expresssed their heartfelt gratitude for the help and assistance extended to them by the Pinoy Ako PartyList which for them will be a big help for them to make *both ends meet “.
The barangay Chairman of Quisao has a prior commitment, hence, he could not make it in today’s event.
