PASIG CITY — Mayoral candidate Sarah Discaya on Saturday night (May 3) earned the approval of PasigueƱos to turn Pasig City into a Smart City.
During the caucus in Barangay Kalawaan, Discaya said that she is dreaming that Pasig City would turn into a Smart City where all Pasiguenos will live in a city where job opportunities, housing, education, and healthcare services are free for all legitimate Pasiguenos, who are relatives themselves one way or the other.
Discaya, under Team Kaya This, is envisioning Pasig as Smart City with 11-storey University Building, 7-storey High School Building, and High Tech Elementary Building.
Discaya will be expanding scholarship for poor Pasigueno students.
She is also envisioning a new hospital with modern facilities, aerial firefighting and rescue capability, new roads and wide esplanade beside Pasig River, vertical parking spaces, and free Wi-Fi in the city.
Likewise, Discaya is envisioning that all processes in hospital and city hall will be digitalized/online, vertical housing projects, clean terminal in all TODA for orderliness, sensor-based traffic system, command center focused on citywide anti-crime CCTV network, and flood control system.
Discaya is a successful businesswoman and a philanthropist rolled into one.
St. Gerrard Construction and Development Corp. (SGC) was named after Gerrard, the eldest son of Curlee and Sarah Discaya, and it has 10,000 employees nationwide. Discaya will make all the employees of SGC from the current 99% to 100% Pasiguenos.
The residents of Barangay Kalawaan, from all walks of life, when asked by Discaya if they will support her and the whole Team Kaya This all the way to the May 12 elections, resoundingly yelled and shouted in the affirmative. ###
