PASIG CITY – Mayoralty aspirant and businesswoman philanthrophist Cezarah “Ate Sarah” Discaya on Friday (Oct. 11) said that her flagship programs and projects should “pinalad na malagay sa posisyon as mayor ang unang plano ang yung health.”
“Here in the office, maraming nagsosolicit ng medicines maintenance, medicines, CTScan, MRI, Pangalawa, housing. Everyone is entitled to his own house. Magtatayo tayo ng housing para sa Pasiguenos,” Sarah said.
Part of the Smart City is the installation of CCTV where Pasiguenos are safe.
As a businesswoman, I’m also a philantrophist. Hindi po totoo na vested interest. What is due the company talagang sisinginlin ko siya.
Kung uupo ako bilang mayor, 21 years in the industry building hospitals, schools, dranage system for flood control which we will share with Pasiguenos para masolusyonan ang problema.
In a press conference at the Headquarters of the St. Gerrard Corporation (SGC) in Barangay Bambang, Discaya said that to clear the issue, we did not deny that we are in the GIS of the St. Timothy before. So ang ginawa namin we divested in the company in 2017.
So since 2017, we were not anymore involved in St. Timonthy. We are not anymore owners of St. Timothy.
I think it was also cleared by Comelec Chair George Erwin Garcia. We were not the ones talking with the Comelec chair herself from other candidate is that she is a mother and a businesswoman and that she knows what really what happened as they themselves experienced how to hardly raise their family.
Their empathy towards the people. Yung nararamdaman naming duon sa sitwasyon nila.
Discaya stressed that siguradong hindi gagawin yung financially stable for us to do that. She told her husband that she does not get her salary.
If we set up a corporation, it will be permanent like a birth certificate.
“Definitely, we will not use any campaign contribution kasi kaya pa namin at kakayanin namin,” Sarah said.
On the inclusivity if gets elected as mayor, First education meron kang grade 95 to be a scholar here which is very impossible na, Impossible for a child to obtain that grade.
I will require a certain grade for as long as pasado sila. We can take out the grade if you are a scholar.
Kami nga mag-asawa hindi kami nagtapos. Kahit may k to 12 tayo hindi nahahire. Tatanggalin natin ang grade na 95 for a child to be a scholar.
Sobrang dumi ngayon ang palengke. Hindi sya masadong malinis. Delayed din ang basura collection, we will also address that and less Pasiguenos are now buying in the Pasig Public Market.
Here in St. Gerrard, we don’t deny anyone, even Muslims, who approached St. Gerrard Charity Foundatioin for assistance.
Kaya kami nag-alok ng peace covenant, is that along the way ganon pa rin. Wag magdiscriminate. Let’s base it on factual at hindi yung hindi totoo kaya nagoffer ng peace covenant.
Since I filed, I had not used my social media anymore for me to focus to do the right thing.
Many have been asking Discaya, why not run in 2028, 2031? Do we need to wait for another three years to address the problems, so I decided to run in 2025 knownig that it’s the right time to address such problems.
Those included in the incorporators of St. Timothy Corporation.
Wala nga kaming ugnayan sa St. Timony, kaya nang nagpresscon si Chairman Garcia, doon lamang namin nalaman na nagwithdraw na ang St. Timothy with the joint venture with Miru.
Miru,is a South Korean IT Software and Technology company which won the PHP18-billion IT and Software technology in the May 12, 2025 national and local elections.
“That’s my nature para makipagbakbakan. Hindi ako para makipagbakbakan to prolong the issue,” Sarah said.
Sara stressed that the Pasig local government has not made any legal move against them.
Sarah would not stop the construction of the PHP9.6-billion Pasig City Hall complex, but definitely, we will make assessments on the real cost of the project.
She admitted that she was overwhelmed by the deluge of expressioin of support coming from legitimate Pasiguenos who have been approaching them in their medical mission for all kinds of assistance.
Sarah could not ascertain the number of beneficiaries for the housing project that she will put jup, but the City Government has acquired several lots and properties for housing projects.
“Our drainage is up for upgrade, especially so that C. Raymundo Avenue is heavily affected by floodings during the stormy weather,” Sarah said.
On transparency and good governance, Sarah said “it’s really good to be true”. Dapat pabilisin ang sistema, noting that to “skip the line” ay “nag-aabot.”
“Aksyon agad ay pinatutupad na namin dito sa St. Gerrard and we will definitely implement the same once we get elected into office,” Sarah said.
It has been the advocacy of the St. Gerrard for the past two years to Pasig recipients in the barangays with medical missions, our market has been expanded. However, Sarah could not ascertain how much really was released, saying that, “the medical missions in the barangays will continue.”
Sia cited for an example the San Miguel Corporation, wnich is owned by the Soriano family. However, they are not anymore owned by the Soriano family, but it’s now owned by Ramon Ang.
Atty. Sia said that as a young lawyer, noted that on the second round of three terms of the incumbent congressman, to add an additional Congressonal Dsitrict in Pasig has not yet been materialized.
He cited that Makati City has more than one Congressional Districts. In the case of Manila, six congressmen are helping for the needs of Manilenos.
100 bedrooms of a hospital will be P1 billion and with an additional allocation for another Congressional Representation would mean an additional allocation from the national government.
Sia cited the plight of the ordinary Pasiguenos who are experiencing hardship when it comes to health services.
The SGC Charity Foundation has been committed for the longest time. It just so happen that Discaya has decided to get involved in politics.
This is not a Catholic charity foundation.
“We just want to focus on public service. We don’t want to be distracted,” Sia said.
He thanked the local vloggers for giving them the opportunity to give their side of the story. Sia cited that the United States has used the social media in their national elections.
We have to calibrate. A greater majority of barangay captains have already expressed their support to Ate Sarah.
Some of those barangay captains admitted to Atty. Sia that Mayor Vico told them that he does not need them anymore, after the Mayor won in the 2019 electioins.
“Bawat pagkilos, bawat galaw, dapat ang focus ay serbisyo,” Sia said.
The President should really act on solving the garbage and wastes disposal for the cleanup of Pasig River.
There are existing inventions of automated machines which can collect garbage and wastes for recycling and provide livelihood opportunities for Pasiguenos, which Ate Sarah would definitely prioritize.
Sia added that aside from Pasig River, the Floodway should also be fixed in the sense that everytime there is tropical disturbance, Pasig is really affected by heavy floodings owing to the clogged drainage and waterways.
If the Team Sarah make it to the City Hall, the applicants in the City will just submit their documents online, to expedite the process and to get rid of corruption.
Atty. Sia said if ayudas are given during the Holiday Season, it would be more proper to deliver the assistance to the indigent Pasiguenos to their own homes.
