Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) Chairman Teofilo Guadiz III

MANDALUYONG CITY –– Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) Chairman Teofilo Guadiz III expressed his profound gratitude to President Ferdinand “Bongbong” R. Marcos, Jr. for reinstating him as head of the agency. 

It can be recalled that Guadiz was suspended as LTFRB chief due to alleged corruption in the agency. 

“I would like to extend my heartfelt gratitude to President Ferdinand Marcos, Jr. for his decision to reinstate me as the Chairperson of the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB),” he said in a statement on Sunday evening.

Guadiz was honored and humbled by President Marcos’ continuous trust and confidence on him. 

“I am truly honored and humbled by the trust and confidence that President Marcos has placed in me to continue serving our nation in this capacity,” he added.

He vowed to affirm the highest standards of leadership in the LTFRB. 

“I pledge to uphold the highest standards of integrity, transparency, and efficiency in leading the LTFRB. We will work tirelessly to address the pressing issues and challenges in the transportation sector, striving to improve the lives of the Filipino people by providing safe, reliable, and accessible public transportation services,” Guadiz said.

He looked forward to contributing to President Marcos’ vision of progress and prosperity for the country. 

“Under the leadership of President Marcos, we look forward to contributing to the administration’s vision of progress and prosperity for the Philippines. I am committed to working closely with our dedicated team at the LTFRB and other stakeholders to achieve our common goals,” he said.
